leveling and bracing a granite bar/pass-through Description

leveling and (http://maplered.com) bracing a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) bar/pass-through

Hi, I just had Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops installed in my kitchen, and (http://maplered.com) I have a question I hope someone can answer. The installation included a pass-through into the living room (with an overhang of about 10"), joined to the backsplash in the kitchen. Originally, this pass-through was not completely level (it was off by maybe 10 degrees). I got the installers to come back (after some hassle) to level it, which they did by jamming a 2 by 4 underneath and (http://maplered.com) hammering it to vertical. Before I remove that, I need to brace the bar, but the hand (http://maplered.com) yman I have is nervous that installing the braces will put even more pressure on the join with the backsplash and (http://maplered.com) that either that seam or the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) itself will break. Is this something we need to worry about, or, since it got leveled without breaking, are we OK? Thanks for any help!
